The BSP28A is a backside-illuminated PiN photodiode, with optional integrated lens, usable from 1200 nm to 1650 nm, and capable of very high sensitivity when coupled with a low noise amplifier for 100 Gb/s long reach transmission applications. This PiN uses a proprietary design for high quantum efficiency and excellent reliability The photodiode meets Telcordia GR-468 reliability standards and is RoHS compliant.
