MultiLane opens Dubai manufacturing facility

Dec. 6, 2021
The addition production capacity comes as a response to increased demand for test instrumentation, interconnect test offerings, and design and test services to support the adoption of 400 Gigabit Ethernet and the development of 800G technology.

Test equipment developer MultiLane Inc. has opened a manufacturing facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The site began producing interconnects products last month.

The new facility, located in the Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) Business Park, joins MultiLane’s offices in Silicon Valley USA, Taiwan, China, and Germany and its headquarters in Houmal Technology Park in Lebanon. The addition production capacity comes as a response to increased demand for test instrumentation, interconnect test offerings, and design and test services to support the adoption of 400 Gigabit Ethernet and the development of 800G next-generation technology. MultiLane notes that the new site has ample space for expansion.

“The move to Dubai demonstrates MultiLane’s strength as a global player in the data center interconnect ecosystem,” said Kees Propstra, vice president of marketing at MultiLane. ‘We have unique expertise and test solutions to support mass adoption of 400G Ethernet and to drive the transition to 800G. Our new facility will enable us to support our worldwide customers even better with high-volume, quality products and on-time delivery.’
