ShowMeCables launches optical transceiver line

ShowMeCables, an Infinite Electronics brand, has unveiled a line of optical transceivers. The optical modules target the needs of telecom service providers, data communications network managers, and IT departments.

The wide-ranging optical transceiver portfolio covers a wide range of formats (GBIC, SFP, SFP+, and XFP) and transmission rates (100 Mbps to 10 Gbps). Distances supported run from 220 m to 120 km; available wavelengths include 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm. Both single-mode and multimode fiber options are supported as well. Connectors include latching LC and nonlatching SC connectors. Most of the optical transceivers are designed for industrial-temperature applications.

“We are excited to now offer our customers these new, high-quality, reliable transceivers. We’re confident they will meet the needs of the telecom and datacom industries, wireless service providers, those involved with cloud storage and hosting, and the enterprise network sector,” said Paul Hospodar, product line manager at ShowMeCables.

The fiber-optic transceivers are in-stock and available for immediate shipment, ShowMeCables asserts.
