Brazil’s UPIX Networks connects to NJFX campus

NJFX says that UPIX Networks of Brazil has established a connection into the company’s Tier 3 carrier neutral cable landing station colocation campus in New Jersey. The connection provides another option for those seeking connectivity between the U.S. and Brazil as well as other countries in Latin America and elsewhere that UPIX serves.

UPIX, which has headquarters facilities in Brazil and the U.S., operates a greater than 25,000-mile fiber-optic network that includes significant last-mile fiber in Brazil. It has points of presence in more than 15 countries and connects more than 400 cities; key hub locations include Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, Santiago, Miami, New York, Ashburn, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Amsterdam. The company works with 200 connected telecom partners to offer services with capacity from 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps over DWDM and metro Ethernet network resources.
