Netcracker Fiber Cloud Solution automates wholesale broadband fiber networks

Netcracker Technology says its new Netcracker Fiber Cloud Solution can provide wholesale broadband fiber network operators with an automated platform with which to manage their business. The platform is designed to enable planning and design, roll-out, service provisioning, wholesale customer onboarding, settlements, and problem solving across multivendor fiber network infrastructures.

Netcracker Fiber Cloud Solution combines cloud-native OSS and wholesale BSS functions into an automated, “pre-integrated” package designed specifically for wholesale fiber markets. The offering includes a library of devices, models, integration adapters, and out-of-the-box automation processes. Use of the Netcracker Fiber Cloud Solution reduces the time, cost, and complexity of launching and running fiber network operations, the company asserts.

The platform’s wholesale open integration layer, which includes open APIs from the TM Forum and country-defined specifications, simplifies interactions with external service companies, Netcracker adds. Thus broadband fiber wholesale network operators can quickly accommodate customer requests for serviceability and feasibility checks, service initiation, service upgrades, and other service lifecycle management and assurance requests in a fully unified and automated manner.

“Both new and established Fiber Operators need to rapidly scale their businesses to accommodate the increased market demand for full fiber access, which is our focus with Netcracker Fiber Cloud Solution,” said Bob Titus, CTO at Netcracker. “We can get the new IT solution up and running quickly and create a differentiating open environment for wholesale operators and partners to achieve business success.”
