LIVE-FIBER DETECTOR

Feb. 1, 2000

The LGF-100 live-fiber detector can be calibrated at 1310, 1550, or 1625 nm. The device will detect traffic, continuous-wave, and 270-Hz, 1-kHz, and 2-kHz modulated test signals on 250-µm, 900-µm, and 3-mm jacketed fibers. Using its power meter, the unit can indicate absolute power levels and relative power measurements in certain fiber types.
