EXFO Full-Band Combiner (FBC) on the CTP10 Component Test Platform

Feb. 20, 2020
EXFO says the FBC module, in the CTP10, enables automated component testing across the full telecom range by seamlessly combining up to four tunable lasers.
EXFO says the FBC module, in the CTP10, enables automated component testing across the full telecom range by seamlessly combining up to four tunable lasers. It covers various wavelength ranges into a single output. It removes the need to select, initialize, scan, and reset each laser manually and displays results in a single concatenated trace.

Judge’s comment: “This is a good WDM test platform for testing WDM multiplexers and other similar PIC components. It has both a very wide wavelength range and a high dynamic range capability.”
