MARCH 18, 2009 -- Lightwaves2020s (search Lightwave for Lightwaves2020) new fiber-optic α tunable filter is a compact integrated module with temperature-stabilized package design. The wavelength tuning is achieved by applying a control voltage. Operation wavelengths and scanning range are customizable.

Features include low insertion loss, high side-lobe suppression ratio, customizable sweep range, high scanning speed, and high finesse. The product can be applied to high-resolution optical spectrum analysis, optical performance monitoring, optical channel monitoring, test and measurement instruments, biomedical imaging and testing, medical diagnosis, and more.
