Digital Lightwave infuses NIC product line with MPLS test functionality

Digital Lightwave Inc. announced Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) test functionality for its Network Information Computer (NIC) product line, available as a license-based software upgrade for MSA 2020/2030 modules enabling network operators and network equipment manufacturers to test Carrier Ethernet network equipment and services.

Digital Lightwave Inc. announced Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) test functionality for its Network Information Computer (NIC) product line, available as a license-based software upgrade for MSA 2020/2030 modules enabling network operators and network equipment manufacturers to test Carrier Ethernet network equipment and services.

Extending the capability of the NIC to support Carrier Ethernet testing, the MSA 2020/2030 modules are compatible with the NIC NXG, NIC Plus, NIC BP, and NIC EP platforms, bringing the MPLS test functionality to applications as diverse as field-based testing, automated production-line testing, and R&D test applications.
