Sunrise Telecom launches 10-GbE test module

June 22, 2005 San Jose, CA -- Sunrise Telecom has introduced its STT Ethernet Module, which the company says is designed for the qualification, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of metro networks with capacities from 10/100-Mbit up to Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet, as well as for testing 1 and 2 Gigabit Fiber Channel networks.

June 22, 2005 San Jose, CA -- Sunrise Telecom has introduced its STT Ethernet Module, which the company says is designed for the qualification, installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of metro networks with capacities from 10/100-Mbit up to Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet, as well as for testing 1 and 2 Gigabit Fiber Channel networks.

The module covers BER and throughput testing across Layers 1, 2, and 3, and includes powerful packet decoding all the way to Layer 7, according to the company. The company says the module's application-based, Windows user interface optimizes testing time, while minimizing time spent on test configuration and training.
