Fiber-optic converters

Fiber-optic converters for V-24/RS-232C or TTL interfaces work at 1300 nm and suit singlemode or multimode fibers. The transmitters use edge-emitting LEDs instead of laser diodes. The fiber-optic subsystem is available in 10- and 20-km versions and handles a 256-kbit/sec data rate with a 3-dB reserve.
