September 22, 2004 Lexington, MA -- PXIT Inc., a manufacturer of high performance opto-electronic test and measurement equipment, announced today that its transmission test instruments will be deployed in Picolight's production of multi-gigabit SFP transceivers for enterprise, storage, access, and metropolitan optical system OEMs. Picolight will use PXIT's digital communications analyzers (DCAs) and bit-error-rate testers (BERTs) to optimize its latest range of multi-gigabit transceivers.

"PXIT provided us with a cost-effective, testing solution that has a small footprint and can handle our intense throughput requirements."
