    November 9, 2004 Oriskany, NY -- Fiber Instrument Sales Inc. (FIS) has announced expanded production of custom MTP Cable Assemblies in response to growing industry demand.

    According to the company, 12-fiber MTP is ideal for high-density fiber-optic applications where many fibers must be terminated within a very small space. Internet and Enterprise data centers are especially popular applications for the tiny MTP.

    FIS also provides custom MTP assemblies and ribbon fan-outs, as well as other small form factor connectors.
