16 December 2002 -- Santec, Komkaki, Japan, has launched a new tunable laser, the TSL-210F. Covering the O, E, S, C, L and U communication bands, the TSL-210F is tunable from 1260 to 1630nm, a massive 370nm in continuous tuning.
The TSL-210F delivers a peak power of 10mW with greater than 3mW guaranteed over the entire tuning range. The unit offers high stability in optical power and wavelength setting accuracy and comes with software for hassle free control via GPIB interface. The "unprecedented" tuning range, high power and stability make the TSL-210F a versatile light source for a host of applications in optical research and development.
