Lumenisity Ltd.: CoreSmart® Hollowcore Cable Solution

Feb. 6, 2022
Lumenisity’s nested anti-resonant nodeless fiber (NANF) based hollowcore cable delivers 1000X reductions in non-linear performance vs. SMF, along with no four-wave mixing and far lower and flatter chromatic dispersion.
Lumenisity’s nested anti-resonant nodeless fiber (NANF) based hollowcore cable delivers 1000X reductions in non-linear performance vs. SMF, along with no four-wave mixing and far lower and flatter chromatic dispersion. The CoreSmart cable can be deployed using commercially available equipment and well-understood methods. The cable has been designed to be backwards compatible with deployed solid-core SMF, including support of hybrid HC-SMF links in a given route.

Judge’s Comment: “The best attenuation performance for hollow fiber cable so far to reduce transmission latency.”
