Transmitter and receiver modules

The 54T optical DFB transmitter and 54R data/clock recovery receiver modules enable OC-48 2.5-Gbit/sec speeds in the local loop. The modules comply with Bellcore GR-253 and ITU G.957/958 specifications over temperatures from -40° to +85°C. Standard inside-plant versions are also available from 0° to 70°C. The units provide an optical path dispersion penalty of less than 1 dB at 1310 nm. The receiver is 0.75 ¥ 2 ¥ 4 inch long, and the transmitter is 1 inch shorter.
