With high extinction ratio and low insertion loss, AFOP polarization-maintaining products improve manufacturing yields and overall product performance, the company claims.

The polarization-maintaining parts are available in FC, LC, and SC terminations with either UPC or APC polish. AFOP says its axis alignment accuracy delivers improved results in critical assembly of PM fiber attachment to lasers and modulators.
