FiberCom was awarded by "Outstanding Photonics Award 2001, Taiwan" for "Single Mode Ultra-Low WDL (Flatness) Fused Coupler." The awarding ceremony will be held at OPTO Taiwan 2001, in August.

FiberCom Optics Communication Corp. was established in Apr. 2000 and ISO9001-certified in September 2000. It specializes in passive fiber optic components including Couplers, Wavelength Division Multiplexers, Attenuators, Patch Panels, Collimators, Pump Combiners, Coarse WDMs, Dense WDMs, and Isolators. The wide range of passive fiber optic components complies with the Telcordia performance and reliability requirements.

The Ultra-Low WDL fused coupler (Wavelength Dependent Loss-Flatness) features WDL less than 0.05dB at C Band and L Band. It also supports PDL <0.05dB and TDL <0.1dB at the same time. The precise characteristics enhance network connection stability and reliability during data transmission and support accurate splitting ratios.
