FOC adds ÅngströmBond AB9123EP Heat Cure Epoxy to epoxy lineup
Fiber Optic Center, Inc. (FOC) now offers the ÅngströmBond AB9123EP Heat Cure Epoxy as part of its portfolio. The epoxy is available with short lead times and offers consistent dot size dispensing, FOC asserts.
ÅngströmBond AB9123EP Heat Cure Epoxy is a high-temperature, low-viscosity optical connector adhesive that can be used with glass, metal, ceramics, and most plastics, according to FOC. It offers fast curing and a pot life of 8-10 hours. The very high glass transition temperature enables it to pass stringent pistoning specifications. FOC asserts the epoxy has excellent temperature cycling capabilities and will withstand high-humidity environments.
