DECEMBER 7, 2010 – BroadLight says that Edimax Technology of Taiwan has selected BroadLight’s BL23500 GPON processor family for various GPON products. The main focus will be on GPON residential gateways.

“Despite our late arrival to the GPON world, we’ve been highly successful in bringing our solution to the market in a very short period of time, thanks in great part to the maturity of the BroadLight processors and the quick response time of the local BroadLight team,” said Gene Renn, chairman and CEO at Edimax.
