Oclaro expands distribution partnership with AMS Technologies

AUGUST 24, 2009 -- Oclaro is expanding its distribution partnership with AMS Technologies to cover all products from the Oclaro telecommunications divisions.

AUGUST 24, 2009 -- Oclaro Inc. (search Lightwave for Oclaro), a provider of optical components, modules, and subsystems, is expanding its distribution partnership with AMS Technologies (search Lightwave for AMS Technologies) to cover all products from the Oclaro telecommunications divisions.

The combined product ranges cover the breadth of component, module, and subsystem products for the telecommunications industry, including a range of amplification products, tunable and high-speed transmitters, receivers, and dispersion compensation technologies.

"AMS Technologies has been our strategic partner for several years, successfully developing new markets and applications for Oclaro products," says Ralph Dean, European sales manager for Oclaro. "They are well integrated with our organization and the expansion of the distribution agreement serves to augment our sales and marketing strategy for the European region."

AMS Technologies supports the European market from local offices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Oclaro's products will be exhibited at AMS Technologies' booth #307 at ECOC 2009, Vienna, Austria, Sept. 21-23, 2009.
