The Light Brigade, the education and training arm of AFL, is offering to sell some of the equipment it has used for its hands-on fiber optic training programs. The company is promising steep discounts.

The company routinely makes equipment available to its students as part of a lab experience to enable greater understanding of the concepts covered in its training classes. The hands-on experiences are hallmarks of Light Brigade’s approach.

The company is now selling some of its excess equipment inventory. In particular, fiber-optic test equipment such as optical time domain reflectometers (OTDRs), fiber identifiers, power meters, and light sources can be purchased. High-end fusion and ribbon splicers are also available.

Information about pricing and availability is available from Joe Wendler at (206) 575-0404.
