Acacia Communications AC1200 1.2T Coherent Module

Feb. 20, 2019
The Acacia AC1200 1.2T Coherent Module is powered by the company’s Pico digital signal processor (DSP) ASIC. Utilizing two wavelengths, with up to 600-Gbps capacity each, it supports transmission speeds of up to 1.2 Tbps. The AC1200 supports multiple network applications, including cloud/data center interconnect, metro, long-haul, and submarine. 3D Shaping enables fine-tune adjustment of the line-side modulation characteristics, which helps network operators optimize capacity and reach for their particular network or link.
