The 438 Multi-Wavelength Meter measures wavelength, power, and OSNR of multiple optical signals at a 10 Hz measurement rate. The system integrates with Bristol’s NuView Optical Spectrum Analyzer Software to display the spectrum of an optical signal to a resolution of 10 GHz, for the ability to determine transceiver side-mode suppression ratio and discriminate between closely spaced WDM channels.

With a single button press, the FIP100 automatically analyzes fiber connector end faces and bulkheads and provides a pass/fail result shown on a free iOS or Android app. Both apps are pre-loaded with pass/fail requirements from IEC 61300-3-35 and saves reports as PDF files for easy file sharing.
