Ekinops to provide software for Lanner whitebox CPE
Ekinops (Euronext Paris - FR0011466069 - EKI) says it has agreed to partner with Lanner Electronics on the promotion and sale of whitebox CPE in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. The agreement includes creation of a joint offering that will see Ekinops software bundled with Lanner’s Whitebox Solutions line of SD-WAN, uCPE, vCPE, and MEC platforms.
The first fruit of the collaboration is the Lanner NCA-1515/L-1515 platform, with Intel Atom C3000 processor on-boarded, loaded with an Ekinops software suite based on the OneOS6-LIM operating system. The combined offering for telecommunications and internet service providers support deliver of a range of certified and optimized virtual network function (VNF) based services including Ekinops SD-WAN Xpress (see "Ekinops combines network access, optical transport software under Compose brand"). The platform and software combination is ready for same-day deployment and will be available for drop ship directly to end customers on behalf of the service provider.
