Syringa Networks supports bandwidth growth with ADVA FSP 3000
ADVA Optical Networking (FSE: ADV) reports that Syringa Networks has deployed the ADVA FSP 3000 optical transport platform to answer continued bandwidth growth on its network.
Headquartered in Idaho and serving areas in Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, and Utah, Syringa Networks serves a broad range of vertical markets, including research and education, government, enterprises, and carriers. Deployment of the ADVA FSP 3000 ensures each of these communities' networks can scale on demand.
Pre-configured for 100G connectivity, the ADVA FSP 3000 also removes any immediate bandwidth limits and defines a clear migration path to even greater data rates, the systems vendor asserts.
The deal is the latest in a 10-year partnership between Syringa Networks and ADVA Optical Networking, which has seen rapid expansion of the operator’s customer base and geographic coverage. The native scalability and reach of the ADVA FSP 3000 ensures that Syringa Networks has the technology it needs to continue to meet this ambitious growth. In addition to hardware, Syringa Networks also uses ADVA Optical Networking's support package to ensure dedicated support teams are available for any issues that may arise – an important consideration when working with customers' mission-critical data.
"We value partnerships that help build mutual success," says Larry Price, sales and marketing vice president at Syringa Networks. "ADVA Optical Networking's team has…helped drive our network to the next level so we can continue to meet the increasing bandwidth demands of our customers as we prepare for 100G and beyond."
