Singlemode linear variable attenuator

The 942 Series singlemode linear variable attenuator is a passive inline component that reduces the intensity of optical signals with minimum backreflection, according to the manufacturer. Adjustments beyond upper and lower limits automatically reset without damage. Once mounted, only single-handed adjustments are required. The response function (attenuation, dB, versus adjustment, turns) is linear over 1 to 30 dB with a resolution of ۪.2 dB. It operates over a range of environmental conditions, vibrations, and shock. Wavelength ranges include 1285 to 1330 nm and 1525 and 1620 nm.
