PMD meter

The PAT-9000 performs PMD measurement using the Jones Matrix method. Therefore, the PMD of installed fibers can be measured as a function of wavelength. The PMD of small-bandwidth devices like fiber Bragg gratings can be measured with high accuracy, according to the manufacturer. The meter can be configured with commonly used external cavity lasers. The unit is operated under Windows. It is 19-inch compatible, but can be used in field applications.
