Pump WDM

The Pump Combiner is a WDM device that allows up to four pumps in the 980/1060- or 1480-nm window to be combined for multiple wavelength pumping of optical amplifiers. The device can increase the output power of optical amplifiers by more than 360%. Based on all-fiber technology, the PC-100 offers insertion loss of 0.5 dB for four channels. Standard wavelength spacings of 2 and 5 nm and custom spacings available. Total pump power in excess of 1W can be accommodated.
