Enterprise WDM

The OCM is a field-upgradeable WDM system that is available in three different platforms: 4-, 8-, and 16-channel chassis, all supporting channel speeds ranging from 10 to 1250 Mbits/sec. Each system is equipped with hot swappable channel modules that allow for in-service upgrades and maintenance for all channel and power supply modules. A management module provides local device control and remote SNMP event reporting through a LAN connection. An optional remote optical switch module is available for redundant fiber paths to ensure availability of connections in case of a fiber break on the primary circuit. The systems can be configured with as few as 2 channels or as many as 16.
