August 13, 2002 -- Alcoa's AFL Telecommunications, a global provider of polarization maintaining (PM) solutions, announces the release of its PM LC connector product line, available in ultra and angled polishes (UPC/APC).

August 13, 2002 -- Alcoa's AFL Telecommunications, a global provider of polarization maintaining (PM) solutions, announces the release of its PM LC connector product line, available in ultra and angled polishes (UPC/APC).

The LC connector line joins existing SC and FC connectors as part of the PM connector family. The connectors are available in jumper and pigtail configurations with options including metalization and sleeve packages for hermeticity, lensed fibers, and wavelength stabilization with fiber bragg gratings.
