Dense WDM system

The FlexPlex MO-16 dense WDM increases by a factor of 16 the transmission capacity of an existing fiber network. The system is optically transparent and bit-rate-independent up to 2.5 Gbits/sec. It allows multiple use of edfas and the existing fiber plant for optical inputs in the 1260- to 1600-nm wavelength range. Various laser types are available to extend dispersion limits.
