Optical communications system simulator

OptSim is a simulator for the design of electrical and optical telecommunications systems, including DWDM, analog/digital transmission, cable TV, and other transmission systems. The system can simulate DWDM while considering all non-linear fiber effects without the need for approximations. Release 2.0 includes new features such as a new simulator architecture that increases simulation speed and eliminates SW overheads and current limits. It also includes the management of multiple runs with different parameter values and comparisons of results.
