August 17, 2004 Fuzhou Fujian, China -- Photop Koncent, Inc., an optical component manufacturer and supplier, has announced its wideband monolithic 1x3, 1x4 fused coupler, the newest addition to its fused coupler series.

Photop Koncent's wideband monolithic fused coupler offers compact size and excellent performance. It features low insertion loss, high uniformity, high directivity, and low polarization dependent loss (PDL) over a wide operating wavelength range and wide input power dynamic range. The 1x3 type can provide an asymmetric coupling ratio, such as 1:1:98.

These couplers are ideal for CATV, FTTH, and amplifier systems.
