Test package

Sept. 1, 1999

The SpectralBER 2.5 Gbit/s test package for DWDM and optical add/drop multiplexers uses the open VXI architecture to provide high test-port density in a small footprint, so an 80-channel system can be tested with a single standard rack. Users control the instrument through an interactive virtual panel or an instrument driver or through SCPI commands. The open-system approach allows other test and measurement modules to be integrated.
