DECEMBER 10, 2009 -- HyperCube has selected Alpheus to provide critical network services to further enhance HyperCube's growing volume of voice traffic.

DECEMBER 10, 2009 -- Alpheus Communications, the operator of an extensive fiber-optic network across Texas, and HyperCube LLC, a provider of local and national tandem services to carriers across the United States, have announced that HyperCube has selected Alpheus to provide critical network services to further enhance HyperCube's growing volume of voice traffic.

HyperCube, whose customers include wireless and wireline network operators, will employ Alpheus's high-speed optical network to deliver traffic between HyperCube's existing long-distance core network and carrier customers in the Texas metropolitan areas. Alpheus provides an extensible transport system that HyperCube will leverage to extend reach and add capacity across the state. As HyperCube continues to expand its product set, this system allows further growth into applications and services that require additional network capacity.

"This partnership with Alpheus will allow HyperCube to continue to provide efficient, reliable, and cost effective telecommunications services to customers with end users in the major urban areas of Texas," says Doug Davis, chief technology officer for HyperCube. "Alpheus's first-rate regional connectivity enhances our nationwide network and will allow us to continue to offer our customers significant savings over traditional networks."

"HyperCube and Alpheus have very complementary capabilities. HyperCube is a perfect customer for us and we look forward to providing this fast-growing company with cost-,effective high-speed connections for years to come," says Chip Robertson, vice preisdent of carrier sales.
