SEPTEMBER 9, 2009 -- The company says its realignment will help Zayo Enterprise Networks meet the changing needs of its customers by delivering advanced IP communication services on a geographic basis.

SEPTEMBER 9, 2009 -- Zayo Enterprise Networks, a division of Zayo Group and a provider of fiber-based telecommunications technologies for business, government, and education, has changed its name from Zayo Managed Services to Zayo Enterprise Networks, reorganized its operations into four unique regions, and launched a new brand identity.

The company says its realignment will help Zayo Enterprise Networks meet the changing needs of its customers by delivering advanced IP communication services on a geographic basis. Customer care, sales, engineering, and provisioning will be managed at a local level in the Colorado, Great Lakes, Memphis, and Minnesota markets.

"Moving forward, this realignment is significant because we will be able to define ourselves around the people we serve in addition to the services we provide. Each market is led by a general manager focused on meeting the needs of his customers and who is empowered to make the decisions necessary to deliver great service," says Glenn Russo, president of Zayo Enterprise Networks.

In addition to the new regional structure, Zayo Enterprise Networks has also officially announced its new company name, redesigned its logo, and launched a new web site. This rebranding effort is intended to reflect the company's focus on mid-sized enterprise businesses and on leveraging its fiber footprint.
