MtronPTI intros Stratum 3 OCXO Series

JULY 17 2008 -- MtronPTI has announced the XO5166 and XO5167 Series HCMOS output OCXO. The series is designed to offer full Stratum 3 compliance per GR-1244-CORE and hermeticity per MIL-STD-202, Method 112.

JULY 17 2008 -- MtronPTI (search for MtronPTI) has announced the XO5166 and XO5167 Series HCMOS output OCXO. The series is designed to offer full Stratum 3 compliance per GR-1244-CORE and hermeticity per MIL-STD-202, Method 112.

The XO5166 & XO5167 Series has a frequency range of 10 to 53 MHz and is available in 3.3 or 5.0 V. MtronPTI says the series is suited to a wide range of applications, including SONET/SDH, DWDM, ATM, digital switching networks, and airborne and military equipment.

"The XO5166/XO5167 Series provides full Stratum 3 compliance to all Telcordia requirements," commented Joe Doyle, vice president, engineering at MtronPTI, "that includes the demanding short term hold-over stability."

According to MtronPTI's vice president of sales and marketing, Dick Thompson, "The advantage of our product is that it utilizes better, more proven production processes resulting in better quality, shorter lead times, and is very price competitive."
