Zayo expands Cincinnati network

Bandwidth services provider Zayo says it plans to expand its fiber network in Cincinnati, OH, as part of an agreement to deliver services for one of its large wholesale customers. “Several” miles of new network will be added as a result of this expansion, and Zayo will double its on-net building count in Cincinnati while bolstering route diversity.

Bandwidth services provider Zayo says it plans to expand its fiber network in Cincinnati, OH, as part of an agreement to deliver services for one of its large wholesale customers. “Several” miles of new network will be added as a result of this expansion, and Zayo will double its on-net building count in Cincinnati while bolstering route diversity.

Zayo’s Cincinnati network also provides access to bandwidth infrastructure services throughout Zayo’s Northeast and Midwest regional network, which includes Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

"Zayo’s approach is to extend the reach of its fiber network to support the needs of its customers,” explained Matt Erickson, President of Zayo Fiber Solutions. “This Cincinnati expansion is typical of how customers drive the geographic expansion of Zayo’s unique fiber networks.”
