Irish national carrier eircom has selected The Kenton Group as to deliver and support the RAD ETX fiber demarcation device for eircom’s use, the supplier of network access, demarcation and connection products says.

Irish national carrier eircom has selected The Kenton Group as to deliver and support the RAD ETX fiber demarcation device for eircom’s use, the supplier of network access, demarcation and connection products says.

The Kenton Group asserts the RAD ETX202 was chosen after extensive lab tests and trials to deliver symmetric Ethernet services to businesses across Ireland at speeds up to 1 Gbps.

John O’Sullivan, eircom’s project manager for Ethernet delivery, said, “The RAD solution met all our needs, it’s available in a number of different formats that we need, and it’s easy to configure and manage. We think it will be a very successful product within our portfolio of delivery options.”
