SNRT of Morocco chooses Net Insight, Ericsson Morocco for TV network expansion

Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT), Morocco’s national public broadcaster, has chosen the Nimbra platform from Net Insight to expand its digital terrestrial TV network. Net Insight partnered with Ericsson Morocco to win the business.

Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT), Morocco’s national public broadcaster, has chosen the Nimbra platform from Net Insight to expand its digital terrestrial TV network. Net Insight partnered with Ericsson Morocco to win the business.

Net Insight says its Nimbra platform will offer availability and control within the expanded network. Redundancy will be provided on both a DVB-ASI service level as well as SDH STM-1 trunk level. The Net Insight network management system Nimbra Vision will be used to monitor and control the quality and availability of the network services.

Meanwhile, Ericsson Morocco will be the prime integrator and will provide project management, support, and installation services.
