    Cable modem termination system

    The cable modem termination system meets multimedia cable network systems` data over cable service interface specification (docsis). The system contains headend components necessary for operators to offer high-speed Internet services to their subscribers. The transend qam modulator model qmm 8000 is the first commercially available docsis-compliant 256 qam modulator. The transend line also includes the mpe 8000 mpeg-2 encoder and the vtp 8000 main building block that houses encoders and will house future products.
