STS-1/OC-1 Sonet multiplexer

The universal sts-1/oc-1 Sonet multiplexer is available with data and voice interfaces, including Ethernet, DS-1, DS-0, RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485. Mapping these protocols directly onto the Sonet frame provides a cost-effective solution to a campus network or metropolitan lan or wan. The interfaces serve applications such as telecommunications, cable-TV headend communications, process control, and rail transportation communications.
