ECI Telecom’s TM1200 next-generation muxponder, based on its ability to perform "software controllable continuous modulation," enables a truly elastic optical network that extracts every bit of bandwidth capacity from the underlying fibers. It has the ability to "dial-in" an optimal modulation scheme that maximizes the transmission rate for a given optical route.
Using continuous modulation, it can multiplex multiple 100GbE or OTU4 services onto a pair of network interfaces that can each support optical transmission from 50G to 600G in 50G increments.

Judge’s comment: “Some competitors match the product's bandwidth efficiency, while others match the product's flexible control, but the product's combination of these two optical networking features is leading.”
