Flexential introduces new interconnection service Flexential Fabric

Jan. 17, 2024
The customer-driven solution promises superior network performance and interconnection over a single port.

On Jan. 17, Flexential announced the launch of Flexential Fabric, a solution that they report is designed to deliver advanced, software-defined interconnection services that support both IP transit and private transport through a single port. Flexential reports that the single port solution simplifies the management of interconnection services, allows users to monitor and manage utilization, and gives them the ability to add, change, or remove services as needed.

The new service is part of the company’s continued investment and expansion of its FlexAnywhere™ platform, with Flexential Fabric functioning as a gateway to the company’s other services, including IP bandwidth, data center interconnect (DCI), cloud fabric, and cloud and data protection services.

Flexential Fabric also features a self-service portal within Flexential’s Xperience Platform (FXP). The web interface gives users control over their network infrastructure, allowing them to create secure, private virtual connections tailored to their business requirements.

Flexential COO Ryan Mallory said in a press release, "Flexential remains highly invested in providing customers with superior network performance and the flexible, on-demand interconnection options that will suit their specific needs and where they are in their growth journey. Flexential Fabric brings a strategic, integrated approach to technology infrastructure with low latency networks to support critical business operations, particularly important in an increasingly AI-centric digital landscape. This new solution is the latest example of our commitment to continuously innovating within the FlexAnywhere™ platform, bringing new capabilities to our Interconnection portfolio and giving customers access to an ecosystem of services that drive business growth."

Flexential offers a customized model to fit customer needs and budgets. The company offers month-to-month options and commitment-based pricing.
