Alex Guichard, Ph.D.

Alex is a Senior Product Manager at Phononic, a venture-backed company commercializing high efficiency, solid-state heat pumps.

Previously a Senior Product Engineer at Cree, Inc. he owned a line of flagship, lighting-class LED chip products. Alex was employee #9 and a Senior Research Scientist at the solar cell manufacturing start-up SpectraWatt. He received his MS and PhD from Stanford University and his BS from North Carolina State University.
