Marvell: Nova 2 1.6 Tbps PAM4 Optical DSP

Feb. 26, 2025
Marvell’s Nova 2 DSP is engineered to support data center interconnects' rapidly growing bandwidth demands.

Marvell’s Nova 2 DSP is engineered to support the rapidly growing bandwidth demands of generative AI, machine learning (ML), and high-performance computing (HPC) within data center interconnects. With its 1.6 Tbps capacity and support for 200 Gbps electrical and optical interfaces, Nova 2 doubles the bandwidth of existing 800 Gbps optical modules, enabling hyperscale data centers to manage exponentially more data traffic within the same physical footprint. This increased bandwidth results in significantly lower infrastructure costs and enhanced cloud and AI workload performance, helping data center operators improve return on investment and drive operational efficiencies.
JUDGE’S COMMENT: “This is the right product at the right time, to help the industry continue its exponential growth.”
