Huawei: fgOTN products (E6600/E9600)

Feb. 26, 2025
Huawei's OptiXtrans E6600 and E9600 can be widely used in energy, electric power, transportation, education, and financial institutions.

Based on existing ITU-T's fine-grain OTN (fgOTN) standard, Huawei OptiXtrans E6600 and E9600 can be widely used in energy, electric power, transportation, education, and financial institutions. Likewise, Huawei's OptiXtrans E9600 is a large-capacity, intelligent, optical-electrical integrated, next-generation, Multi-Service Optical Transport Network (MS-OTN) platform for enterprise. Both devices are based on the MS-OTN (multi-service OTN) platform to build full-scenario capabilities from backbone to access networks and support the rapid evolution of SDH networks.
JUDGE'S COMMENT: "With this application of fgOTN, Huawei offers many of the transmission advances now enjoyed by communications service providers to other fiber network operators, particularly electric utilities and transportation companies."
