Teledyne LeCroy Xena ApS: Xena Ethernet Test Platform

Feb. 26, 2025
The Xena Ethernet Test Platform (XETP) lets developers of 112G SerDes PAM4 devices and services delve deep into the complexities of optimizing traffic at speeds up to 800 Gbps.

The result of Teledyne LeCroy's acquisition of Xena Networks in Oct 2023 is the "Xena Ethernet Test Platform," which extends the Ethernet traffic generation and network emulation capabilities of Xena solutions with Teledyne LeCroy's family of SierraNet protocol analyzers. Leveraging Teledyne LeCroy's LinkExpert software, the Xena Ethernet Test Platform (XETP) lets developers of 112G SerDes PAM4 devices and services delve deep into the complexities of optimizing traffic at speeds up to 800 Gbps. Leveraging the unique "built-in" PHY of the Z800 Freya traffic generators, developers can quickly perform a range of tests faster and with greater control than the 2-3 other comparable solutions on the market, which all rely on 3rd party PHYs.
JUDGE'S COMMENT: "This platform offers several capabilities for testing Ethernet connectivity."
