Calix's Intelligent Access E9-2 ASM5001 line card and AXOS Software-Defined Operating System enhancements assist service providers in achieving their goals.

Serving over 650 plus BSPs globally with the Intelligent Access XGS-PON solutions, Calix's Intelligent Access E9-2 ASM5001 line card and AXOS Software-Defined Operating System enhancements assist service providers in achieving their goals, creating a financially sustainable business by reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) throughout the network and services lifecycle. The ASM5001 Layer 3 High-Density OLT allows service providers to deploy triple-play broadband connectivity services to subscribers and aggregate and optimize the broadband services, leveraging layer 3 IP networking, all within a single system. By consolidating network functions such as service routing, subscriber management, and service delivery in one system, this platform reduces the number of physical devices to deploy, configure, manage, and operate.
JUDGE’S COMMENT: “This product offers a solid modular, stackable form factor architecture with good port density for smaller ISPs that prefer an integrated unit.”
